Stephanie -- I use my intuition a lot. Then default to craft if there is a tie.

I value emotion and expression above all.

I truly believe photography to be a mirror of ourselves, so the closer to your own beliefs, bias, philosophy and aesthetic the better. <-- all that just takes practice, and you're doing a great job already. :)

Thanks Tyson! Editing is difficult. I find myself so easily torn between different images. I'm stuck asking myself what makes one photo better than another, and it's so hard for me to answer that question! How do you make the choice of one photo over another? Is it about variation or solidifying a style? Or something else entirely?

Nice sets.

I concur, you have beautiful friends and the fact they are willing to be photographed is a big bonus.

I like your aesthetic -- Lots of bright color, natural light and structured backgrounds.

Critique:

Watch your focus, there are a couple where it is in the wrong place.

Edit, edit, edit. If you can get down to 3 images instead of 10 you'll have a better portfolio. **advice I don't follow** lol
